Shipping & Freight

How fast will my order ship?

In-stock items ordered on a business day typically leave our Wisconsin Rapids facility quickly — small items by ground carrier, which reaches most of the Midwest in 1–2 days. Large or milled-to-order items ship by freight and we confirm timing with you. If you need delivery by a specific date, call 1-800-426-1002 before ordering and we'll tell you honestly whether it's possible.

Why can't I get a shipping quote online for long items?

Items 8 feet and longer can't go by regular parcel carriers — they ship LTL freight, and freight pricing depends on your exact location and delivery situation. Call us at 1-800-426-1002 and we'll quote it in one call. Many shorter items quote freight automatically at checkout.

Do you ship to California?

No — we ship nationwide except California. See our shipping policy for details.

Does anything ship free?

Select 5-gallon exterior stains ship free — they're marked on the product page. Most other items show live shipping rates at checkout.

Products & Choosing

What do the log profile numbers like #143 or #132 mean?

They're our mill profile numbers — each one is a specific cross-section shape. #143 is round inside and out (the classic cabin look), #135 is round outside with a flat interior face, #132 is double tongue & groove for a tight stack, and #139 is a beveled-edge square timber look. Our profile guide shows each cross-section, or call and describe your project — matching profiles is what our pros do all day.

Can your logs and siding match a log home you didn't build?

Often, yes. We manufacture our own logs and siding and many repair and maintenance contractors buy from us to patch homes of every brand — sometimes using a stock profile as-is, sometimes modifying it. Send us a photo and a measurement and we'll tell you what's feasible.

What's the difference between caulk and chinking?

Both are flexible sealants for log joints. Chinking is the wide, mortar-textured band you see on traditional homes; caulk is a thinner, smoother line that nearly disappears on milled-log joints. If you're matching an existing home, use what it already has.

How much tongue & groove / stain / railing material do I need?

Use our calculators — they do the same math our pros do on the phone, including waste allowance. For anything unusual (vaulted spaces, big gaps, weathered wood), call and we'll figure it with you before you order.

Ordering & Pricing

Can I see exactly what's included in a cabin kit?

Yes — every cabin kit has a complete material list that goes beyond what's on the product page. Request it from the product page or call 1-800-426-1002 and we'll email it, along with a freight quote for your location.

Is there a better price if I call?

On some products, manufacturer policies limit the price we can advertise — so it never hurts to call, especially on larger quantities. For volume orders (full walls, whole-home staining, contractor quantities), call us at 1-800-426-1002 for a quote.

What is your return policy?

Most of what we sell is milled to order or shipped at real freight cost, so we generally can't accept returns — please see our refund policy for the specifics, and call before ordering if you're unsure about sizing. That's exactly what our pros are for, and it's why the calculators include a waste allowance.

Visiting & Who We Are

Can I see the products in person?

Yes — our showroom and full model home are at 4421 Plover Rd, Wisconsin Rapids, WI, open Mon–Fri 8am–5pm CST. Walk the actual stairs, touch the actual tongue & groove, and talk to people who build with this stuff.

How are you related to Golden Eagle Log & Timber Homes?

We're the parts-and-pieces side of the same Wisconsin family business. Golden Eagle builds complete log and timber homes; LogHomeMart sells the materials, parts and products to build, finish, decorate, protect and maintain log and timber homes — yours or anyone's.
