Crafted from the statuesque pines of the American Midwest, this full log mantel is sure to add a nice touch of character to your fireplace area.
Featuring a rustic hand-peeled draw knife texture to emphasize knot structure, this mantel is available in 6 ft. and 8 ft. lengths (select above).
Precisely milled from solid, kiln-dried Eastern White Pine, it measures out at an approximate 8" high and 9.5" deep.
The mantel will arrive to you raw and unfinished, so you can stain and seal it with your favorite color.
*NOTE* The round support posts shown in some photos are not included with this purchase but can be found here (buy a 4 ft. cedar post and cut it in half for two perfect log support pieces).
You can mount it to the wall however you would like. See examples in the photos. Mounting hardware is not included (you can use lag bolts, log screws, corbels, etc.).

It may require a light sanding to remove shipping/handling marks, milling lines, etc.It is recommended to finish this mantel with a stain and/or clear coat to make cleaning easier and to enhance its natural beauty. |
*If checks/cracks are not desired, it's recommended to fill them with a wood putty or textured caulk that matches your stain color. You can find colored textured caulk here
